French 1, SAT English, Grammar & Writing for Middle School, High School English, Middle School Math, and Pre-Algebra

I come from a wonderful family of teachers (mostly math), and began helping my mother teach the younger classes when I was still in school. I grew up in London, with five brothers and sisters, and I have a degree in Human Sciences from Oxford University. After fifteen years in professional theater, I moved to the United States in 1990 when I married my husband, who is a musician and entertainer from Louisiana. While he performs in local venues, I now sing mainly at Ascension Catholic Church, where I belong to the choir and am one of the cantors.
Before moving to the Space Coast, I taught a variety of subjects (including drama, geography, biology, American history, and French) to middle and high school students at a private school in Miami. My specialities are English - reading, writing and language - and middle school math. I love these subjects and thoroughly enjoy helping students of all ages to understand and become more skilled in these areas. I am honored to be part of the wonderful, caring team of instructors and administrators at ACE!

Bullyproof, Jui Jitsu, and Karate Martial Arts classes

I started training martial arts in 2005 with my 3 brothers. I didn't want to train at first but my parents made a deal with me that I could quit if I didn't like it after a month.
Needless to say after I got my first belt I was hooked! My parents had originally signed us up as a way to get physical exercise as well as a social activity. Since we were all home-schooled the classes really helped with gaining confidence and learning to properly socialize.
I have been teaching now for over 12 years and have been running a great martial arts studio in downtown Titusville with my wife April and my brother Israel for 9 years . I am a 3rd Degree Black Belt in the Chuck Norris System and a Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Hands On Math Classes

As the oldest child of seven, I have been teaching in some manner basically my whole life. It seemed very natural for me to enter the teaching field especially after receiving national and state teaching scholarships. I met my wonderful husband, Marty at a Baptist Campus Ministry meeting at UCF, and we will be celebrating our 27th anniversary in August. After college, I taught in public schools for over ten years before becoming a mom to my two children. We have been homeschooling for over ten years now and look forward to many more. This is our seventh year of being blessed by being a part of the NBHSA-ACE; I look forward to the smiles and hugs each week from my students as we grow and learn together that math can be exciting and fun.

Lab Rats, Fun Factory, Colossal Curiosity, and Golden Comets Science

Hi, my name is Linda Copeland, Christian, wife, mom, nana and elementary teacher by profession. Currently, I am retired and substituting in the north area schools of Brevard County after 36 years of teaching. I love working with the students and teaching the nature of science and how it is used in our world. God has given us all that we need to live and work in a beautiful world. It is imperative that the students learn to value its beauty, how it works, and their roles in keeping it safe for themselves and generations to come. I am looking forward to working and learning with your children as we explore through hands on activities both in class and home.

Music In Motion, Acting Up!, and Showstoppers

As a kid I was extremely shy, but everything changed when I joined ACE’s musical theatre program. It brought me completely out of my shell, and I fell in love with it. From that day until I graduated, I was in every production ACE presented. I performed in community theatre productions, studied film/TV acting at Prodigy Talent Training, had an acting coach, and vocally trained with ACE’s Sheri Mercurio. I also attended workshops and master classes lead by top agents and working actors in NYC, Atlanta, St. Louis, and Orlando. After graduation I went to study musical theatre at The American Musical & Dramatic Academy in New York City. I am currently on break because of covid but super exited to use this time to teach and share my passion of musical theatre with ACE once again. I taught music at Mindworks Early Learning Center in Rockledge, musical theatre and hip hop at The Viera Children’s Academy, and private dance lessons at Prodigy. This past school year, I had the privilege of being the assistant director and choreographer for ACE’s middle school and high school productions.

Dramarama, and The Great Pretenders High School Drama Club

I have been thrilled to pass on my love for theatre to this home school community for the last 7 years. I look forward to directing a new show each year and teaching all the lessons involved in theatre that are also very big life lessons as well. I love taking the shyest of students and giving them a chance to shine. I absolutely love watching the gifts God has tucked into them blossom and grow. Theatre mimics life in so many ways. It is my desire to speak life into my students, to help them see their greatest potential and to watch them grow their confidence, all things I think pay off big later in their lives. Together we create, we change, we grow and we learn. All culminating in an amazing production in which they make memories that last a lifetime.
