Crochet can be used to boost and develop creativity, to relax and to reduce anxiety, to build confidence, and as a profitable skill. It is a truly enjoyable skill and hobby that I love to do myself, and love to teach and share with others. In this class I will teach beginners the basics, such as how to hold the hook and yarn, how to begin a project and how to end one, as well as the basic stitches used. They will learn and practice by crocheting their own items, such as washcloths, scarves, drink coasters, hats, etc. For those already familiar with crochet I will teach more advanced stitches, provide any insight or suggestions on their projects, and help however needed as they continue to create.
