NBHSA monthly support group meetings are held August through April on the first Monday of every month, with the exception of the September meeting being held the second Monday of the month. Meetings are held at Park Avenue Christian Academy, 2600 South Park Avenue, Titusville, Education Building, room 202.

Non-members

Non-members are welcome to join us for meetings, field trips and activities. All non-members will be required to pay a non-member rate for activities with cost. Members in attendance at the meeting will have priority for activities that are limited in space. Non-members are always welcome, but without our members who pay yearly dues, this support group would not exist.

Announcements

In order for the meetings to proceed in an orderly fashion and conclude at a reasonable time, announcements will be kept to a minimum. The Board values the time the membership devotes to group meetings and plans the agenda in advance to make the best use of that time. Please do not approach members of the Board or the Announcement Coordinator at the meeting to add an announcement. The deadline for submitting an announcement will be the Saturday prior to the Monday meeting.

Reserving Space

Reserving a space for an activity or field trip sign up sheet at a monthly meeting is easy. Contact a board member at least one week prior to a meeting to have your space reserved.

Children

Children are always welcome at the meetings. Most parents use the monthly meetings as a parent time, but sometimes that is not always an option. Please be assured that it is fine to bring your children during those times. However, the meetings are planned for adults and children may become bored. Try to bring along a quiet activity for your child to occupy his/herself with. This will help you to remain focused, get the most out of the meeting, and will also show a courtesy to other parents in attendance.
