New and Existing members must print and fill out the form below.

Cost

The cost is $35 per family when joining during the month of August through the September meeting (date TBD). Thereafter membership dues will increase to $45. Members are also given the option of joining the Florida Parent Educators Association at the special group rate of $18. FPEA member dues are taken through the September meeting only. To join FPEA after the September meeting ($28) you may visit the FPEA website at www.fpea.com.

Requirements For Membership

To qualify for membership in NBHSA you must:

1. Be educating at least one child
2. Read agree to the Statement of Faith.
3. Pay membership dues in full upon joining.
4. Children must be registered with the Superintendent of Schools or enrolled under an umbrella school.

While service within the group is not presently a requirement for membership, the success of the group depends upon the amount of participation and dedication of each member. NBHSA is a cooperative effort of home educating families that come together to provide quality activities for their children and support for parents and guardians. The leadership of the group is not financially compensated for their efforts. They pay the same membership fee as any other member.

Members will be issued a membership card with their member number upon joining. You will need to record this number on activity sign-up sheets in order to receive the discounted member rate. You will be required to show your membership card to receive voting privileges.

The Membership Directory is for NBHSA member use only. It is not to be used for solicitation or business purposes of any kind. DO NOT distribute it to any other organization or individual.
